Ten Day Bourbon is a premium bourbon whiskey that's been aged, distilled, and bottled in Kentucky. This bourbon pays homage to the doctors who kept whiskey flowing during Prohibition.

In the heart of Kentucky, where the rolling hills and picturesque countryside serve as a backdrop to a rich history of bourbon-making, a unique story has emerged. Founded by three doctors with a passion for fine bourbon and a deep respect for its heritage, Ten Day Bourbon pays tribute to an extraordinary group of medical professionals who sustained the spirit of bourbon during the Prohibition era.

A letter from one of our founders, Dr. Rob Wilson...

“Like most good things that happen in life, Doctors Blend Bourbon & Whiskey Co. and Ten Day Bourbon started simply with a passion and a dream.

Combining my interests in early American and Kentucky history with my love of practicing medicine, I began to learn the forgotten past relationship between the art of medicine with the art of distillation. As a man who already enjoyed the taste of the "American Spirit", I found a deeper facet of bourbon whiskey to appreciate.

My heritage is Scotch-Irish, dating back into the 1500's to the Highlands region of Inverness, Scotland. In 1740, Colonel John Wilson led his family across the Atlantic to the British Colonies, settling in Doe Hill, Virginia. It was there, working as a farmer, that distilling corn and rye whisky was established in my family. Learning this, a dream of crafting a bourbon whiskey was born.

But, the pursuit of this dream was solidified because of the fellowship with others that universally happened while I enjoyed a glass of bourbon. Whether it was my wife, one friend, or a group of friends and family, the time spent with others became central to what bourbon whiskey meant to me, and I recognized I wanted to share it.

All of this then came together and shaped this dream. My hope is that others may appreciate this passion and become inspired to go out and pursue their bigger dreams too.”
